What is an EMG test?
Electromyography (EMG) is an electrodiagnostic medicine technique for evaluating and recording the electrical activity produced by skeletal muscles.

Why use an EMG test?
EMG testing is used to diagnose disorders of the muscle, nerves and other systems of the body including: Carpal Tunnel and various neuropathies. Your physician may order an EMG test to diagnose the cause of the following symptoms:
